Marriage is one of the most important rites of passage that you can experience in your lifetime. As an interfaith minister and a global ritual expert that appeared for many years on the Hallmark Channel, I am here to gently guide you into this beautiful new chapter of your life together. I have been honored to marry many couples over the years and I deeply believe that the most essential element of a wedding is that it be crafted to hold true meaning for you as a couple. The wedding I will co-create with you and perform will be carefully designed to truly share your unique love story. I am now delighted to be able to perform same sex marriages in NY since I have been performing commitment ceremonies for same-sex couples for many years. Now all may have the joy and gift of legally marrying in NY.
I also do destination weddings and have been honored to perform ceremonies in Vermont, Connecticut, Florida and Hawaii to name a few.

“Thank you so much for creating and holding such a sacred space for us on our wedding day. James and I were both moved deeply by your blessings and words to us and our friends and family. You helped us weave together a ceremony and celebration that was heartfelt and soulful for us and bonding for all who shared in that glorious day.”
- James and Nicole Coppey
What is Your Love Story?
The first step is for the three of us to meet each other for a free consultation. During this time, I would love to hear about your own personal story over a cup of tea….how did you meet each other? When was the moment you knew you found the one of your dreams? What experiences have shaped your relationship into the beautiful union that it is becoming? Would you like family or friends to be involved in the wedding? Are their any cultural traditions or family heritages you’d like to incorporate? What is your idea of a dream wedding?
“You truly crafted our ceremony into the most unforgettable wedding for all involved. You took our love story and helped us build a memorable event entwined with the beautiful and timeless rituals you suggested for the ceremony. Our intimate circle of friends and family were honored to be such an active part of our wedding, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Your genuine warmth and the true dedication in which you led our marriage ceremony made it profoundly touching. We were deeply honored to have had you lead us into our very blessed life as husband and wife.”
- Burke and Tara Heffner
Through listening to your own personal stories, I can then offer many suggestions to custom tailor your wedding through my knowledge of global ceremonies and rituals. I will personalize your ceremony to be the wedding you have always dreamed of from traditional to non-denominational, from alternative to spiritual.
“Thank you for making our wedding so beautiful, so magical, so unbelievably special. Thank you for communicating such deep, soulful love and sharing yourself fully,. The moments of our ceremony are our most cherished ones – ever. And your presence and guidance in our wedding is one we appreciate and treasure beyond words. Thank you.”

As an example, I was honored to perform the marriage ceremony of the documentary filmmaker, Jules Naudet, who captured the footage of 9/11. For the wedding, Jules and his fiancee were surrounded by their closest fire fighter friends in a turn of the century New York City firehouse. They had truly formed a sacred bond with the firefighters of New York City through their experiences together, and the firehouse was the perfect place to have their ceremony performed as they became husband and wife. The entire fire department added additional personal touches that included the battalion chief and his men filling their helmets with rose petals as the men passed them around to throw at the new bride and groom.
The reason this ceremony was so touching is because we brought together the elements of their love story and celebrated in a way completely unique to them. I have performed marriages on the beach with a bonfire, in a wedding cottage nestled in the forest, in the gardens of Central Park, in glorious old churches and synagogues and temples of all faiths, on mountainsides and hilltops, beside rushing creeks and waterfalls, in New York City apartments, in exquisite mansions, on a private pier of one of the world’s most exclusive hotels, and on land that was the bride’s great-great-great grandparents.
I have performed marriages intimate weddings with two guests to a large wedding with hundreds of guests. What is your dream? I am here to provide you with ideas and inspiration at this extraordinary time of your life and I am dedicated to supporting your vision.
“Thank you for all the hard work and time you put into creating our wedding ceremony. Many people told us it was the most meaningful and beautiful ceremony that they had ever witnessed. Some even took it a step further and thanked us for renewing their faith in marriage ceremonies. You are a wonderful, loving woman so willing and eager to share yourself and your calling with others. We feel so lucky that you officiated our wedding. Thank you for helping us make our wedding such a memorable event.”
